Chair - David Arnosti (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)
The Conference Committee consists of two or more QBI faculty members selected by the co-directors in consultation with the EC. Their function is to plan QBI-hosted conferences. Conference topics will generally relate to the QBI focus areas, but opportunities will also be considered for growing into new areas.

The Curriculum Committee oversees the development of new QB related courses and facilitates coordination with existing courses/programs on campus.

The Fellowship Committee consists of three QBI voting members. Their function is to advertise and administer support for fellowships to support QBI students, and select students to receive available fellowships on a yearly basis.

This committee consists of four voting QBI members. Their function is to recruit the best-qualified candidates and procure recruiting fellowships for them. They are responsible for increasing the size and the quality of our applicant pool and will emphasize the recruitment of underrepresented groups into the program.
Evaluate applications for admission to the QB Graduate Program and make recommendations to the Graduate Program Co-Director as to whether or not the applicants should be admitted.

The Seminar Committee consists of three QBI faculty members.
This committee is responsible for choosing a seminar format for the year, and for selecting appropriate topics and presenters. They also plan QBI hosted seminars, including those in the Science at the Edge series.
Chair - Christina Chan (Chemical Engineering and Materials Science)
This committee will coordinate development of new funding for the QBI, including identifying major external and intramural grant opportunities and selecting faculty who could potentially lead (or otherwise participate in) the pursuit of funding.
Chair - Bob Cukier (Chemistry)
This committee will participate in developing computing and other major shared equipment or facilities relating to QBI.
Chair - Maria Zavodszky (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)
Shin-Han Shiu (Plant Biology)
This committee will develop and design updates to the QBI website, develop advertising literature, and plan open-house and outreach activities for our research and graduate programs, in coordination with the co-directors and QBI staff.
